Summer Style with Frank & Eileen
I’ve been soaking up summer with my soon-to-be kindergartner, preschooler, and my new baby boy. Time (and summer) are flying by – I never want these summer days to end. We’ve been spending a lot of time at home and did some landscaping, too (hello, hydrangea). And now that I’m 3 months postpartum, I have been getting out a bit more. And no matter where we are or what we’re doing, I’ve been wearing Frank & Eileen every week this summer. From the pool to lounging at home, these pieces are so comfortable and easy to wear. It’s chic, casual, and always make me feel so put-together. Frank & Eileen’s relaxed fit flatters every body type – here’s what I’ve been wearing this summer.
Summer Style with Frank & Eileen
Any time I can shop a sustainable, women-led business that makes pieces I love, I’m in. I have loved having my new Frank & Eileen dresses and loungewear in my closet this summer. The brand is the epitome of cool, California style. And as someone who grew up in LA and went to college in Santa Barbara, that CA casual effortlessness is something I really love. The color palettes are beautiful – mostly neutral with touches of blue. The classic timelessness means that whatever you buy will never go out of style. The fit, the style, and the fabrics are some of the best you’ll ever own.
The Frank & Eileen Rory Dress
This Frank & Eileen shirt dress is the perfect dress. I have this dress in white, blue, and black, and if I were to add one more to my collection, I’d get the white and blue stripe. I would have gotten these pants in vintage navy and white if I weren’t postpartum. But for now, dresses and loungewear are life. This dress is one of my favorite Frank & Eileen pieces, but the brand originally started with the a timeless button-up shirt (also a favorite). These pieces are so versatile – wear them to dinner, at home, on the beach, or when you’re running errands.
A note on the white voile dress. I love it, but it’s a little sheer. So it’s best as a cover up or you’d need your bra and underwear to be the same exact color as your skin. I am very pale so I feel like it’s even more sheer on me?

Loungewear
I have a size small in all of my loungewear and am definitely not a small right now. They fit really well – the shorts can (and would) have more room when I’ve lost the baby weight, but they work for now. I’d say these run pretty true to size, and are a little roomy.
