My baby will be fifteen months this week, so it’s about time I shared her nursery with you. 😉  This room, which was my former office, is (this might shock you) more neutral than I wanted it to be, but after adding some molding and art, I’m happy with how it turned out. Here’s a look inside her sweet and simple nursery. So here’s my daughter’s neutral nursery tour. Scroll down to see the rest of this space, and shop all the items at the bottom of this post. You can see all the details for her window treatments can be found in this post.

My Daughter’s Neutral Nursery Tour

Designing a neutral nursery for a baby girl involves creating a space that is both timeless and versatile, allowing for a variety of future decorating preferences. This approach focuses on using colors, furniture, and décor that are not traditionally gender-specific, promoting a calm and balanced environment. A neutral nursery often starts with a soothing color palette. Soft shades of white, beige, gray, and taupe serve as a perfect backdrop. These colors are calming and create a serene atmosphere, which is ideal for both the baby and parents. Adding subtle accents in pastels such as mint green, soft yellow, or gentle lavender can introduce a touch of color without overwhelming the space.

Note: this was taken right after I hung the art above her crib. It has since been moved up a few inches and is completely out of reach.

These bookshelves were in Margot’s nursery and I had them in our basement. Once the molding went up, they felt like the perfect addition to this space.
