girls spring capsule

Spring is just a little over a month away. With a new season comes the chance to refresh my girls’ wardrobes as we transition from cooler days to warmer ones. Although we’re in Chicago, so I can expect a few more months of cold. Their birthdays are around the corner—they’ll be 5 and 7 soon—so I picked up a few new pieces to carry them through spring and into summer. Think easy layers, playful prints, and outfits that are fun and cute, but less insane than all the sparkly sweatsuits they’ve been wearing all fall and winter. Here’s a peek at what they’ll be wearing this season!

Girls Spring Capsule: What My Girls are Wearing This Spring

I usually purchase two of everything for my girls who are 2 years apart. They usually like each others’ clothes and it’s so easy just buying two. But I’ve decided that it’s time to stop, and I’ll be mixing up their patterns and prints this year. They are getting a few of the same basics, and they both need the striped pants with cherries on them, but are otherwise going to have their own looks this season. I’m hoping it’ll make sorting laundry easier, too. Here’s what I ordered.
