Interactive Cat Toys

I grew up with rescue cats and have always been a cat lady at heart. My beloved cat, Dexter, passed away in my 20s, and soon after, I moved across the country on my own. Later, I married a guy who isn’t a cat fan, and we had two little girls who’ve been asking for a cat over the past year. Knowing it would be wonderful for them, I happily reclaimed my title of “cat mom” with two sweet kittens, Blueberry and Poppy. With two playful indoor cats, I started searching for interactive toys. I found a few favorites from years ago and discovered some new gems I knew they’d love. Here are the best cat toys for cats and kittens!

The Best Interactive Cat Toys for Cats and Kittens

Kittens are naturally curious and full of energy, so it is essential to provide them with toys to keep them busy and entertained. I also recommend adopting two kittens if you’re able. They will keep each other company when you’re not available, which will ultimately lead to less boredom and destruction. Interactive toys, climbing towers, and scratching posts keep kittens busy but also help satisfy their natural instincts to pounce and scratch. The right toys will help your kittens stay active and happy, while also reducing unwanted behavior.

Interactive Cat Toy Ball

This ball is a great way to keep cats busy and engaged when you don't have time to play with your cat. I prefer this string to feathered toys since feathers tend to end up everywhere.
