Well hello, October. Is it just me, or does each month seem to go by faster than the next? The leaves are falling, temps are cooling, and my fall shows are back. Dare I say it…I’m almost ready for the holidays.
I’ve been drinking spiced apple tea and wearing leggings, oversized sweaters, and flannel. Fighting a little cold right now and hoping to be 100% in time for a dinner party that I’m hosting on Thursday. Don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve been really run down the past few weeks, so I’ve been taking it easy. Relaxing more and working out less (which is driving me a little crazy).
So here’s a recap on the past month.
I finally caved and bought the Mark III. Then I booked 7 photo shoots (this is, of course, a part-time side gig). I did 2 in September, and have 5 in the next 11 days. And I’m second shooting my first wedding on Saturday! Yikes. My business partner leaves for Europe today (for the next 10 days), and our new intern starts today. I’ll be a little all over the place the next few weeks, but I can’t complain. Life is good.
Our sofa collab with Interior Define came out.
I painted my bedroom. Again.
So excited to finally share
that I took 3 photos for Elements of Style. Yes. The book by the talented Erin Gates.
The Everygirl is now selling travel mugs. The shop has been doing really well and we couldn’t handle the orders each week, so we also handed our shop over to a distribution center. No more packaging product!
And also, I turned 32. Had a birthday brunch with some of my favorite girls. Everyone went with spa themed gifts (massage, manicure, and pedicure). All at the same spa. So looking forward to a relaxing spa day next week.
