So, I live with Alaina now and this whole roommate thing is better than I could have imagined. I wasn’t worried about living with her–more about needing my own space since I’ve had that for 3.5 years. It’s nice having someone around, and the extra space (and closet space) makes me so happy. And we’re saving money. Win win.
I’ve decided to keep things really simple in my bedroom. And neutral. Shocker. The walls
are Martha Stewart Chinchilla but I had the paint made 50% lighter. I
sort of wish I went 75% lighter but am still happy with how this turned
out. The room feels a bit dark so I plan on lightening it up with white
or light wood nightstands.
The pup now has built in puppy friends and a patio with direct sunlight. Something he did not have in my last place. He scratches at the door like he has to go out and then jumps on a chair to sunbathe. He’s a happy guy.
Our furniture merged together really nicely but both our dining tables were too small, so we ordered a huge dining/conference table. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
I updated my moving sale. The floors in our apartment are a little warped (my desk is literally on a 2-3 inch incline), so my desk chair had to be added to the list. It’s on wheels and won’t stay put. Have to love a place with character. Still selling my sconces, added my bedroom lamps to the list, and my nightstands, too. Email me if you’re interested in anything.
I was able to get 3 workouts in during moving week! Wasn’t sure I’d make it, so I was pretty happy with that. Feeling really good. Haven’t seen my PT in over a month. Going in for a follow up this week.
Can’t get enough of this guy.
I love these.

Will and his fiance Toby will be here on Sunday! We’re spending the day with them and then hosting Will’s book signing at West Elm on Monday. Cannot wait to see those two!
That’s about it. Moving has taken over my life but I’m finally starting to feel like I have a new routine.
