An authentic midwest pumpkin patch.

Many dreams came with moving to Chicago. A new life, new friends, being on my own in a big city, orange leaves, & no more dreaming of a white Christmas, to name a few. So when my friend Michelle suggested that we find a pumpkin patch in the burbs, I was in. You know I’m a sucker for anything festive. We invited Christine to join us & on Sunday afternoon, the three of us headed to Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm.

Endless pumpkins.

How cute is that bag?

I took home one of those gorgeous green gourds.

My first midwest pumpkin patch was everything I could have hoped for. Fall treats, cider, hay rides, a corn maze, and a farm. The complete opposite of Mr. Bones pumpkin patch in LA where there are signs asking that you not take photos of celebrities with their children.
