Things I loved about Nashville.

I don’t want to forget a single moment of my time in Nashville. It was such a wonderful {and life changing} couple of days.

  • I got to experience the south. Southern hospitality really is the greatest thing ever.
  • I met Amy, who welcomed me in to her home. Southern hospitality at its best. She had presents waiting for us, made biscuits, drove us all over Nashville, and was so unbelievably sweet. I will never forget her kindness.
  • The leaves.
  • Staying up until 2:00 am talking to Amy and Jill.
  • My first route 44 diet coke at Sonic.
  • The excitement of realizing that you order from your car {at Sonic} and that someone brings the food out to you. I’ve never experienced that before! Loved it.
  • The woman at the antique shop saying “thanks, darlin’!
  • Meeting Adrienne. After all our online conversations, it was so wonderful to be able to meet her in person. Love her. She’s so sweet.
  • Seeing Carrie Underwood. I can’t seem to escape those celeb sightings.
  • The red hat ladies.
  • My first trip to Chick-fil-a.
  • Asking Amy to pull over at the sight of a few trees, a fence, and a trailer. I thought I was looking at the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. I never want to forget that moment, because looking back, it was nothing compared to what I was about to see. But it made what was to come so much more beautiful.
  • Our roadside photo shoot.
  • Playing in the leaves {and taking hundreds of photos}.
  • Walking in to a cute Christmas shop and passing out at the sight of all the Christmas decor.
  • Christmas Village.
  • Getting to meet Tippa.
  • Dinner with Jill, Amy, and Tippa.
  • I tried fried pickles and loved them.
  • Baking pumpkin bread.
  • Tennessee T-Cakes.
  • Walking through downtown Nashville.
  • Meeting Angie and Jess. I love them both, and had such a wonderful time.
  • Angie’s tour of the Natchez Trace Parkway {and a few areas of Nashville}. So beautiful {and entertaining!}.
  • My second trip to Chick-fil-a.
  • Meeting Amy’s aunt. She was a riot!!
  • Our horse drawn carriage ride.
  • The creeks.
  • Sampling flavors at tasti d-lite.
  • The small town feel.
  • The beautiful buildings.
  • Watching the leaves blow on the lovely country roads.
  • Cross Point.
  • The bonfire. That night was so unbelievable. I am still trying to wrap my mind around it. Thanks for going with me, Tippa!
  • The beautiful churches.
  • Meeting Wes and hearing his story. You should stop by his blog to read it.
  • The cute little lit up street in downtown Nashville.
  • My second diet coke at sonic. 😉
  • Beautiful country roads.
  • Visiting a honky-tonk and having the lead singer pose for us. I had no idea what a honky-tonk was until a few days ago.
  • The kindness. The hospitality. The graciousness.

Such an amazing city. I absolutely love it there, and want to go back very soon!

i'm new to your blog…but no chic-fil-a or sonic where you live? how is life worth living?

i'm from the eastern part of Tennessee and our leaves are even more beautiful than middle tennessee (where nashville is located!)
